Delete your account

1. Open Bes.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
4. Read the warning, then confirm.

It happens immediately and cannot be undone. You do not need to contact us.

If you cannot open the app — a lost phone, a deleted app — email admin@miqsoft.com from the address you signed in with, with the subject Delete my account. The request has to come from that address; it is the only way we can tell it is you.

We complete it within 30 days and reply when it is done.

Your account itself — the email address and password you sign in with, and your profile — is deleted outright.

If you are the last person in your family, the whole shared journal is deleted with it:

• your baby's name, date of birth and sex
• feeds, sleeps, nappies and every other logged event
• growth measurements — weight, length, head circumference
• health records and vaccination doses
• solids and food trials, and milestones
• journal entries, day notes, and the routine choices you made
• photos, including your baby's profile picture
• the app's own record of what it predicted and how wrong it was

We keep no separate archive of deleted journals. There is nothing left to restore afterwards, for you or for us.

If other people are still in your family, the shared journal stays with them. Your membership and your profile are removed, but the record of the same child — written partly by them — is theirs as well. It does not disappear because you left.

The copy on your own phone is not touched. Bes works offline and the journal on your device is yours. Deleting the account removes what is on our servers; uninstalling the app removes what is on the phone.
